  13. I just purchased a U.S. Robotics 28,800 Sportster Data/FAX Modem. It seems 
  14. to work fine, however it does one strange thing. Whenever I pick up 
  15. another phone on the same line as the modem, the AA light comes on. How do 
  16. I disable this and still use the AA feature when I want to put the modem 
  17. in the AA mode?

  19. The other strange feature is that when I first turn the modem power on, 
  20. the computer will not talk to the modem until I try to dial a number the 
  21. second time. Then it works fine.

  23. Can anyone suggest a remedy?
